Do you have a storefront?
Not yet! I currently operate out of my home kitchen in the Andover/North Andover/Haverhill area, but serve the entire Greater Boston area.
Do you offer edible imaging?
Yes! Edible imaging is a fun aspect to add to your cake, cupcakes, or cookies, so please contact me to request a custom consultation!
How do I know my order is confirmed?
You will receive an email from Cait Bakes confirming the details of your order along with an invoice. Please note this is a separate email from the automated email you receive after submitting an order. If you do not hear back within 72 hours, please be sure to check your Spam folder, and our social media for any Out of Office updates.
Do I need to refrigerate the baked goods?
Cookies do not need to be refrigerated.
Cakes and cupcakes are good to sit on the counter at room temperature for up to 3 days. Any longer, they should be moved to the fridge. But, we don't expect they'll last that long without being eaten anyway!
Do you offer Dairy Free or Vegan options?
Yes! Please note all items labeled as Vegan are also Dairy Free.
We offer The Bridget (Strawberry), Chocolate cake, Peanut Butter Frosting, and Soft Frosted Vanilla Sugar Cookies all 100% Vegan.
What size are your cakes?
Round cakes are 6" in diameter, 4 layers. It's a tall cake! Feeds 12-15 people.
Vintage heart cake is 8", 2 layers, and feeds 15-20 people.
What if I need my order sooner than 7 days?
We may not be able to accommodate your rush order, but we will do our best! Orders placed within a turnaround time of under 7 days may require a rush fee.
How do I pay?
We processs payment through Venmo Business (@CaitBakes) which uses Debit, Credit, Bank Transfer. Payment is due 2 business days before Order Date.
What if I want to change the frosting kind or color?
We are happy to accommodate your request, but please note some cakes have complimenting key flavors in their paired frosting.
Please leave any frosting color requests in the Additional Details section of your order. Otherwise, your order will be as-is product description and photo.
What if I want a custom cake?
Custom cakes require a consultation. Please use the Contact page to fill out a contact form and we will be in touch soon!
What if I need to cancel or change my order?
Please contact us regarding any order cancellations or changes. If cancellation or changes are made within 1 weeks, there may be no refund possible.
Im outside the delivery mileage range, what do I do?
If you are outside the delivery range, but would like to know what your options are, feel free to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Do you have Business Insurance?
Yes! If your venue requires proof of insurance, just let me know & I will provide a copy to them.
